Through raffle tickets, bake sales, lucky draws, challenges, community outreach, and more, our creative centres went above and beyond to inspire their communities to support this important day. Together, we were able to surpass our BIG goal of raising $10,000 and raised an impressive $25,010 (and growing!).

“We are so proud to be raising much-needed funds and awareness for Australian children in foster care this Pyjama Day,” says Affinity Education Group CEO Tim Hickey. He continues, “Not only have we surpassed our goal by more than $10,000, but we’ve also shown what can be achieved when we are Completely Connected.”

This valuable contribution will allow community mentors–called “Pyjama Angels”–to be recruited, screened, trained, and then matched with a child in care. Together they read books, play educational games, do homework and so much more. Most importantly, they empower children with learning, life skills and confidence to reach their full potential.
