Our centres celebrated Holi by creating festival of colours based activities that are designed to provide meaningful learning opportunities, whilst having fun!
Last week one of our QLD based centres, Papilio Early Learning Robina organized Holi for the children.
The children loved Holi as it promotes children’s awareness, engagement and understanding of diversity whilst also providing a fun and safe activity for the children to enjoy.
Emma Niceski, Assistant Centre Manager, at Papilio Early Learning Robina said, “We celebrate the Holi festival each year with a colour run. Our children and educators all wear white shirts, and we go out into our yards to begin the fun. Our families and children look forward to it each year”.
Papilio Early Learning Lutwyche in QLD recognised Holi with their children by reading a story about it and participating in a colour run outside.
Telesia Leaupepe, Assistant Centre Manager, at Papilio Early Learning Lutwyche said, “The Holi festival is about colours and love as well as having fun. The children and educators came together as a community and centre to celebrate this festival and culture. To see so much learning and having serious fun was very rewarding.”
