Lifelong Learning Centres have made it easier than ever for families to access the Federal Government’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS).  Depending on your circumstances, you may never have to pay full price for child care again, because we are an Australian Government approved child care centre.
 
The CCS reduces your child care by giving you a customised percentage discount off the daily cost.  This is available to you for a set amount of hours each fortnight, as determined by Centrelink.
 
The percentage of CCS you will receive, and the number of hours each fortnight, depends on your circumstances. There are three criteria:
•    Your family’s income
•    Hours of ‘recognised’ activity you and your partner do
•    The “hourly rate cap” based on the type of approved childcare and your child’s age
 
If you are entitled to receive CCS, the payment comes directly from the Government to our centre to reduce the fees you pay.  This means you don’t have to pay full price for your fees and then wait for a refund; you get discounted fees upfront.
 
You also don’t have to do any of the payments administration; the centre takes care of this for you.

Flexible Sessions

To make the most of the CCS available to you, we also offer the option of 10-hour or full-day sessions. This means your fortnightly CCS hours can be spread out over more days.

Some families can also get extra support on top of the CCS through the Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS).

How To Enrol

When you enrol in our centre, we'll work with you to complete a Complying Written Arrangement (CWA) which lists your normal permanent days, and also allows for convenient casual care bookings. At the time of enrolment, you will be required to pay two weeks' fees - the current week and a week in advance. Fees are paid via direct debit and family accounts are to be kept a week in advance at all times.

Please note:
Fees are charged for all statutory holidays unless your Centre Manager advises otherwise.
If you wish to cancel your child's booking, four weeks’ notice is required. You will be required to complete an electronic cancelation form, which can be requested from your Centre Manager or by emailing our enrolments team at enrolments@affinityeducation.com.au.
